A great blog post by Scott Karp on Publishing 2.0 highlights the extent to which papers like the New York Times are obfuscating the full extent of the decline in print advertising revenue. As bad as the stories have been over the past few years about the decline of daily newspaper print revenue, the truth is undoubtedly much worse than what’s been reported.
