“Newspapers Not Worth Zero”

Thanks to the Silicon Alley Insider for quoting a Microsoft Exec at the DeSilva+Phillips conference. Microsoft’s Chief Ad Strategist Mike Galgon made the comment during a panel discussion that newspapers were, “Not worth zero.” DoubleClick’s CEO David Rosenblatt agreed. It’s a pretty good sign that a new low has been hit when people are defending your industry by stating that your business isn’t worth nothing.
