LinkUp summer recap: Big growth, big changes and big fun

Summer sizzled at LinkUp, and we’re not talking about the heat. The season was full of big change and tons of fun. Here’s a recap of all the exciting things that happened:

1. Record-breaking growth
Month over month, LinkUp experienced record-breaking growth. Search traffic, revenue and mobile growth are all booming – in a good way  – and we hope the momentum continues into fall and beyond.

2. New hires
With record-breaking growth comes the need to hire new staff. The LinkUp family expanded with new hires in sales and IT, plus we welcomed a new CFO. Check out our career page for more information on our open positions.

3. Office remodel

The big office remodel was mentioned in previous posts, and now that it’s complete and everyone is settled, we’re all loving the new space. The open design encourages collaboration and creativity, and we’ve become even closer as a team working toward our goals.

4. Internships
We hired four interns who brought a range of talent and fresh ideas to the table, even through the dog days of summer. The marketing and IT departments are grateful for all the extra help and hard work.

5. Trade shows

LinkUp attended several tradeshows throughout summer. We learned a lot and made some great connections. In June, we attended the SHRM conference – Society for Human Resource Management – held in Chicago. In July, we attended the IMAGE health care conference right here in our own backyard: Minneapolis.

6. Let’s play ball!

At LinkUp we work hard, we play hard and we love a good game of baseball. So it makes sense our company outing was to a Minnesota Twins game. Who doesn’t enjoy watching the boys of summer play in a beautiful open-air ballpark?

7. Culture Club activities
Throughout summer the LinkUp Culture Club planned a bunch of activities. From fun fiestas and ice cream socials to dress-up days that made everyone smile, we all had plenty of good times and memorable experiences.

8. Coffee and conversation

A good cup of Joe and great conversation is always a winning combination. Once a month the entire staff meets for “Coffee and Conversation” to share department updates – and lately we’ve had plenty of exciting developments to chat about.
