LinkUp recently took a look at Applicant Tracking System (ATS) usage across LinkUp’s unique dataset of 5 million jobs from 50,000 company websites to understand distribution across the ATS marketplace.
LinkUp recently took a look at Applicant Tracking System (ATS) usage across LinkUp’s unique dataset of 5 million jobs from 50,000 company websites to understand distribution across the ATS marketplace. We identified nearly 150 ATSs currently in use, and analyzed their prominence across company type and job count to determine which were most popular.
Additionally, we removed ATSs that focus only on education or government jobs such as EDJOIN and NeoGov. We focused on ATSs that have more than one client, so we limited the company count to be based on companies with at least five current job openings. The share of job openings is also based on job openings among companies that have at least five current job openings.
Top 10 ATSs by Company Count on LinkUp
Although this report focuses on the top 10 ATSs there are three ATSs that make up more than 50% of the market share: Taleo, iCims, and Custom ATSs (i.e. ATS software built by the employer themselves).
Top 10 ATSs by Job Count on LinkUp
By looking at ATS rank by both number of companies and job count, we are able to highlight some of the smaller ATS that may not have a large client base but have one or two major firms using them. ATSs such as IBM’s Brassring, Talent Reef, and Kronos make the top 10 ATSs by job count but not by company count.
